Imagine a relationship with food that is a blessing, not a struggle. Imagine sustaining your body on wholesome, satiating food. Imagine using food as a way to celebrate being alive.

I am deeply grateful for my experience in and commitment to the process of learning how to recognize, identify, critique, and deconstruct the powerful (yet often insidious and invisibilized) hydra that is our culture’s dietary dogma. With the component pieces in front of me, I am able to choose what serves me in building a system that works for me, and what to disregard.

Each of us have our own unique experiences with and orientations toward food, and these personal (and historical!) backgrounds and viewpoints will inform our work together. That being said, here are some examples of meals that have nourished and inspired me:

Once we’ve gotten to know each other, I have a series of discourses which we can go through on a variety of health-based topics that will help you learn a framework for health (instead of focusing on dietary minutiae).
