Chestnuts Roasting–Mushroom Dyed Yarn

$25.00

This yarn was dyed with Pisolithus arhizus (also known as Dead Man’s Foot, Dyer’s Puffball, or Dog Sh*t Fungus), which makes a lovely range of cool browns, warm browns, and pinks, depending on the concentration and pH. This one is a fairly warm, luminous brown, which makes me think of chestnuts on the grill at a winter barbeque. Adorn yourself or your loved ones with a work of knitted, woven, or crocheted art made by mushroom magic, and bring the forest into the home with this Pisolithus arhizus mushroom dyed yarn.
