Orange Custard–Mushroom Dyed Yarn

This vibrant pink is the product of an amazing chemical reaction–when lobster mushroom dye is shifted to low pH, in this case with vinegar, it turns from ruddy to dreamy orange. If you look closely at this yarn, you’ll see a few sparkles of cotton candy pink where the chemical reaction did not fully take place. It’s a lovely touch, in my opinion. NOTE: If you’re comparing the Orange Custard and Desert Wandering yarns, this one is dreamier and less earthy. I tried to correct the colors to true, but they end up looking very similar on the computer, and different in person.
